Wendy - Maternity Session

It was such an honor to get to shoot Wendy’s maternity photos. First off, she is SO stunning, and I knew she’d be photogenic. Also, she’s one of my best friends and has had a rough pregnancy so I hoped I could bring her joy through images. Since she is an awesome photographer, I knew she’d have great stylizing ideas…she had so many of the great ideas that inspired these shots. How fitting was a home maternity session for someone that’s been in bed rest almost her entire pregnancy?! I love the cozy and casual feel of an at home maternity session. I loved that her three other kids were happy to take snuggly pictures with their mom. Wendy loves her kids and being a mom; she’s kept such a positive attitude throughout her bed rest! I can’t wait to take her new baby girl’s pictures soon! : )
Wendy isn’t just great at photography…she’s good at every craft she touches! Like knitting adorable pieces for her new baby girl.

Why the Dry Spell?

This post is long overdue, but the reason I’m not posting on my blog is because I am out of town! My husband is a 4th year medical school student at Georgetown and I’ve been following him from California (UC Irvine) and now to Utah while he was doing month long rotations at these different medical schools. We’re going to stay in Utah to spend the holidays with our family.
I will be back in town January 4th, and I will be post some sessions after I get back! Until then, here’s a little sneak peek at wedding I never got around to posting!

Renny - Maternity

Renny’s maternity session was so fun! Maternity & newborn sessions around this time of the year are always special to me since my daughter was born in August (3 years ago).
Renny and Dustin are going to be the best parents (I can’t wait to take pics of their little one next month!). They never stop smiling and having fun. We had to re-schedule this session 2 times because of the rain…and guess what?! It still ended up raining on us for a few minutes towards the start of our session…but that didn’t stop us from getting killer stuff!
