Retro Engagement Session

I did a very fun, retro engagement session of the gorgeous Katrina and her fiance Steve. They wanted something different and artistic. We did lots of unique posing and crops and came up with really cool stuff! They both are soooo photogenic and looked amazing in every photo. You will LOVE Katrina’s hair. Thanks you guys!!

I used my favorite retro actions for these photos (they are a few that I didn’t use actions on, but not many!): SX-70 (TRA set 1), Antique Tone (TRA set 1), Pool Party (TRA set 2), and Lux Soft (TRA set 2).

For wedding favors they are handing out books so they brought them along as props, I loved how they turned out!

When I was in New York…

When I was in New York last weekend celebrating my birthday (which was the 15th) and Mother’s Day, I asked our friends that met us there to model for me in Central Park. We met up before breakfast one morning and had a little picture party. Luckily, I have extremely good looking friends that are not only gorgeous but lots of fun to work with. So we got some great stuff. My perfect vacations always have to include photos. ; )

Frank & Makelle have been married for almost 5 years and are so great together

This one tied for first place on my fav of Frank and Makelle because Makelle is SO GORGEOUS!!!

And this was the other that tied for 1st of these two! I LOOOVE this!!

St. Michaels Engagement

First off, welcome to my new blog-site! It will have all the best parts of my blog and my website, combined. You’ll find current work in blog posts, but I’ll also be loading up galleries from my portfolio. There’s a contact page so you can email me about setting up an appointment or any other questions you might have. Wohoo!!!! How do you like it?!?!

Now onto the best part of this post…

Lauren & Mike had the idea of doing their engagement session in St. Michaels, Maryland. Ohhh, it was a GREAT IDEA!!! I had never been, but they assured me it would be picturesque. Waterfronts, boats, purple and teal houses, and even some forrest trees…..so many different backdrops to choose from! Match that up with it being the place where they fell in love and picture perfect outfits….well, you can only imagine what we came up with. While I was driving back across the Bay Bridge I felt so happy that this is really my job. And happy I have the best husband in the world who had to miss out on the trip to St. Michaels because he stayed home to potty train our daughter!

Lauren & Mike are so incredible together. SO in love, well educated, extremely fun, and kind. I get the best clients ever! I can’t wait for their wedding in Willimasburg in June.
