Paisley - 6 Months Old

I’ve been meaning to post this session for ever. G.o.r.g.e.o.u.s little Paisley. She’s the daughter of my cousins on my husband’s side. It was so fun to work with a baby that thought that EVERYTHING was funny. I kept asking her mom, Ashley, what she was doing behind me to make her laugh so hard…but she wasn’t doing anything that crazy! I could not believe how many laughing pictures that we got from Paisley. It was so fun to think about how I shot Paisley’s mom’s wedding 5 years ago…maybe it was 6? Too long to remember! And now she has this beautiful daughter!

Morgan - 7 Month Old Baby

I LOVE photographing infants….especially babies around 6 or 7 months old. They make amazing eye contact, think everything is funny, and pop the most hilarious facial expressions. Morgan did not disappoint…she was an angel for her session! You’d never guess that her apartment was actually about 85 degrees and so hot that her mom was putting her in the refrigerator in between set changes! I brought string cheese for a snack (for myself…I know I’m weird but I get hungry while I’m working) and the whole thing melted into liquid cheese….ew!! I guess what’s more gross is that I still ate it…

Not only is this girl so beautiful, but she is going to be SO SMART! Her mom is a doctor and her dad is literally a rocket scientist….so if your kid ends up going to school with Morgan make sure they are sitting next to her in science & math class. ; ) These three make up one BEAUTIFUL and very fun family.

Morgan LOVED having her toes tickled and pinched…and I couldn’t resist!

I LOVE her expression here….I’m sure I was singing a song or doing something embarrassing to make her laugh and she was just looking at me like, “Um, try something else.”

And I loved her long eye lashes!

I am so obsessed with this white headband that Mary found for Morgan….I must get a feather headband for my next daughter!

She loves her mommy and daddy A LOT and both of them play so sweetly with her!

Katie - 6 Months Old

What can I say about little 6 month old Katie? She was PERFECT! I knew the session was going to go well when I arrived and she was still asleep. I went with her mom to get her out of her crib and she was just allllll smiles. She went through the entire session without ever taking a break to rest or eat (ok, she did have 15 min break for a WATER bottle)! She was incredible!!!!
